StarGlobe User Guide

Before using StarGlobe, you should set your location. Select Automatic to have your location set automatically.

StarGlobe is either in light mode or dark mode, depending on what mode your device is in. In the Settings app under Dislay & Brightness, you can set your device to switch to dark mode from sunset to sunrise.

When the compass is turned on, the globe will rotate to the direction you are facing. Over time, the compass can drift out of calibration. You can recalibrate it by moving the device in a slow circular motion while angling away from the center of the circle, as shown below.

Also keep in mind that the compass may not work properly if you are standing close to something made of steel, like a car or a railing or a building with a steel frame.

Use the time controls to step forward or backward in time. Tapping the minutes button toggles the step size between one minute and ten minutes, likewise for hours and days. Tapping the reset button puts StarGlobe back into real time mode.
